MN State Fair

We went to the State Fair for the first time in at least 10 years (perhaps more.) We didn't go in with much of a plan except that we knew we wanted to look at the farm animals and NOT go on the Midway.

We started near the coliseum and the farm animals. It was a big hit (except for the smell.) It would have been fun to see chickens but they were not being shown because of avian flu.

The kids held up pretty well with all the walking. We went to what felt like the opposite end of the fairgrounds to catch the stunt dog splash show. It was really enjoyable and entertaining.

After that, we looked at some exhibits and grabbed some snacks. Natalie and Jamie did end up on one ride after all.

We finished with a trip to the miracle of birth center, where there was actually a lamb being born. It was a great day but not something I feel like doing every year.
