Even though today was the day we were going home, we still had lots of activities planned. We started with a hike at Interstate Park. It got quite a bit warmer than it had been so the hiking was a little slower and needed more rests but we saw all the different interesting rock formations in the park, dipped our feet in the water and finished up with lunch in the shade. The trickiest part was probably keeping the needed things accessible in the van when it was all packed up again with ALL the camping equipment, food and clothes we had brought.
The views were wonderful, especially since we had seen the rock cliffs from the river cruise and the geology was very interesting. Definitely a place we would like to visit again.
