Each summer, the kids go out to the garden a couple time a month during the sermon to work in the garden from planting to weeding to harvest. They learn Bible lessons, build community and learn to serve as the fruits of the garden are donated to the food shelf. Each year, hundreds and hundreds of pounds of fresh vegetables are picked.
