I have this deal going with Jamie and Natalie for the school pickup line at Deephaven because I really dislike sitting there in the van. So I try to time it to be near the end so I can just buzz in and out without being the mom who sits in front of school for 30 minutes in order to be the first one who picks up. So the deal is – if I am the LAST one to pick up – they get a bag of cookies from the closet OR we go to Wendy’s for fries. Then they don’t mind waiting – because sometimes they get a treat. Maybe in later years, they will realize I was last on purpose a few times.
