One of the things I really wanted to be able to do with the kids out of public school was be more involved in other people’s lives – to have to flexibility to serve and volunteer and help other people out when they need it. I used to volunteer for little projects here and there in the kids’ schools but THEY never got to do it. This week, a friend from church with 2 little boys and one of the way was just feeling a little overwhelming so we offered to help out. I was really t happy hat she was REAL enough to say, YES, we would love help – can the boys come over?
We had an absolutely delightful time playing inside and out, going to the park and giggling with our little friends. What a gift it was to us, even though we went in thinking we were gifting our friends. God is AWESOME like that!
I had to take a photo of this interesting fungus growing in the woods on the edge of our yard! Fall is such an interesting time of year.
