Minnehaha Falls and Ford Dam

We visited Minnehaha Falls today and parked in a different area than usual. This enabled us to cool off in the little wading pool and also check out the path leading down to the dam. I have been there before but the kids had not. I was very excited to see that the public areas were open so we could look over the lock and dam and check out the view from the observation area. It was a rare treat. I was only sorry that Jim missed out on it.
