This is a great example of why I love being part of the Mills Church Community. It’s really a place where I feel like we can really be ourselves and do life together with some other families who are also trying to keep it real. I do not feel like people are pretentious or always worried about the face that they put on to others – trying to look too perfect. It’s OK to have questions and struggles here. And that’s why I got such a good laugh out of James Palm accidentally throwing Jayson’s car keys onto the roof. (He was trying to knock an icicle down). It’s just a relief to know other people’s kids do dopey stuff too! And that it is not a terrible reflection on us as parents. It’s just kid stuff.
