Today's boxes from Amazon were going to become a rocket ship but ended up an ice cream truck instead. These were unusually large boxes and ended up turning into several hours of creative fun over a couple days. I still love that the kids can often be easily entertained without a lot of expense, effort or technology. (Not always, but enough times to make it remarkable to me) It is a reward that I appreciate from making the conscious (and repeated) choice not to over-schedule their lives (our lives) with too many structured activities.
