We also went for a walk along the nature trail behind the high school. The skies seemed pretty clear when we left but a storm began to blow in as we were returning home. Still it was nice to be outside.
Winter Stuff
This deer has been to the house a a number of times in the last few days. Previously, he was here at night and close to the house. Today, in the daylight, we saw him close to the house again and saw that he was very severely injured. We spent quite a bit of time observing him and wondering if he could be helped. He did not return again. We named him Lucky for having survived that injury.
