We are happily back to our “old” way of not observing Halloween by trick or treating. We went swimming at Williston on Oct 31 in the afternoon and then had a movie marathon (first and second National Treasure) and ice cream party. On Nov 2, we hit Target for the clearance candy and divided it all up in about 5 minute. Slick. No goblins, no gross visuals, no creepy things. All in all, much more fun than traipsing around in the dark. Oh, did I mention we ONLY bought candy we LIKE?
