The last of three classes we signed up for this semester, through Three Rivers Park District, was homeschool candle making at Elm Creek Park Reserve.
Over the course of two hours, the girls made beeswax candles, dipped and candles and two varieties of poured candles. It was GREAT to try all these techniques without having to invest a lot in supplies OR even clean up the mess afterwards!
Before we left in the morning, I had seen a special Facebook offer from Cherry Berry - $4 for everything you could fit into a 16 oz. container so the girls agreed to use some of their Christmas money to enjoy this unusual treat on the way home after class. It was delicious!
