Natalie has been especially interested in building an elaborate house with Legos this week. She said it was a great break from Minecraft. I find that ironic!
Her creation had tons of interesting little bits like a garden, a go-kart track, a hot tub and trampoline. She showed me what she was working on several times. She loves to create and then do a homestyle show and tell to explain her projects. I think in many ways she is making up for lost time from public school when she did not get as many chances to speak/present and also was under a bit of a dark cloud because of having troubles with Ls and Rs - a situation that has been much improved with speech lessons with Mrs. Jans at Deephaven.
