Keeping up with last week’s idea to do arts/crafts on Sunday afternoons, today we made new wall art for the living room by masking off lines on canvases and painting into the geometric shapes that were created. This was another Pinterest idea that actually worked! Probably not the same as the original image but our little art display by the front door needed some sprucing up anyway. I like the randomness of the colors and shapes and how they all look together.

And to commemorate, these are the previous pieces the kids made that were on display for several years. They were made with yarn, foil and paint and got lots of complements from visitors.
