The premier GTCYS orchestra presented a free concert at the Ordway this afternoon. It was designed to be family friendly and included several well-known pieces along with explanation and some drama (Romeo & Juliet). The kids’ favorite was a percussion only piece reminiscent of what we saw Flying Foot Theater do. It was fun for me to see the wonderful Ordway space and enjoy some live classical music.
