The weather was unseasonably warm this week so we took advantage of that and went to play and walk at Round Lake Park. Even though there was some stubborn snow on the ground, the sun and temperature above 60 degree made it very enjoyable. The girls played on the playground and got lots of use out of the springy padded ground there for many passes of tumbling practice.
The fishing pier also provided some entertainment – thin pieces of ice that could be extracted by hand and smashed for that lovely “tinkling” noise.
