Instead of going swimming at Williston tonight with Natalie and Jamie, we went over to McDonald’s in Excelsior for ice cream and then walked out to the bridge by St. Alban’s Bay to check out Lake Minnetonka.
Since it was a milder winter, the ice was already away from the shore – so we won’t be playing with it on Spring Break! There was still some floating ice that became a target for rock (and mini boulder) lobbing. The visual reward for ME was this lovely sunset across the bay looking toward Excelsior Commons. And the mental note was how “dull” our lives would be if we only had two kids!
