We had some unusually cold weather this month so the outdoor ice skating was available earlier than usual. Yesterday, we were at Thorpe for Jamie and Natalie to go sledding with a group from Grace Church and saw that the rinks had been poured. We checked and the warming house was open too, so we went back today to enjoy the winter fun.
We were lucky to have skates for everyone (I gave mine to Lauren since I was suffering with a lot of foot pain anyway), without having to buy anything new.
Natalie started with hockey skates but ended up switching to figure skates a day or two later. This is just part of what we do for PhyEd in our homeschool,
