As part of greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies night of service, Lauren and some of her sisters and I got to volunteer at Second Harvest Heartland Food Bank. We spent two hours packing rice into one pound bags that we got from a 2000 pound bag. We learned a little bit about local hunger and what a food bank does. The work was a little hard but rewarding. We plan on going back again.
