This summer, I decided it had waited long enough. Not only did I paint the room but I refurbished a couple of pretty old piece of furniture too. One of them still had some awesome 1970's contact paper liners in it.
Everything turned out really well and I was excited that the furniture looked as cool as the stuff at IKEA that I love...but for a LOT less, since I paid for was new paint. It took a number of coats of primer and paint but it was worth the effort.
