These are some notecards that Jamie wrote while watching Wild Kratts (her favorite show on PBS). She is recording key facts to write a book about her favorite animals. And her not-so-secret wish is to mail a copy of her book to Martin and Chris Kratt of the show. I love how each of the girls can be engaged with the things they really, really love. There is NO WAY Jamie would be writing notes like this on something that was not really engaging. In this process, she is picking up so many other skills in a really natural way. This is one of the greatest triumphs of the type of learning that happens here and I very often marvel at it!
