Weekend Homework

Since this was the first weekend of homeschool, everyone was interested in knowing if working in the garden was “homework” since we chose it as a school project. I explained that we were trying to learn how to balance all of life including studies, meaningful work, fellowship, service and play time. Plus the weather was cooperative on a day that Dad was available to do some of the hard work of digging out the hard ground to built the garden wall. (His hands were still sore two days later!). It certainly looks like this project will REALLY happen this year!
