Dan McCarthy invited the girls to canoe Purgatory Creek with him, along with Joey Hurth and Sam Landt. Jim dropped them off in the park parking lot and then picked them up a few hours later downstream. They reported lots of fun plus a couple of dunkings for Natalie. The stream was running well and few portages were needed.
Afterwards, they asked if we could get a canoe too – fortunately, this should be one of the activities we can enjoy at Taylor’s Falls when we go camping this summer.
