After a large amount of effort put in by Jim and the girls this season, the garden walls have been completed and the ground broken up! Today, we rented a roto-tiller from Frattalone’s Ace Hardware (where Katie is now working) and it’s really starting to look like something where plants can grow! All’s that’s left is dirt delivery and planting. It seems late in the season, but we had very little warm weather to work with. I am planning on buying some already growing things anyway – like tomatoes and peppers to start with this year. I know it’s not too late because the greenhouse is still up in the Cub Foods parking lot!
