The big day finally arrived for the delivery of the garden dirt. Jim and Katie separately calculated and agreed on the amount: 15 cubic yards. It had to be delivered with a huge truck. We planned to have it put in the driveway but that didn’t work because of the power line and the apple tree. It ended up in the road and got moved by wheel barrow over to the garden. Justin did a HUGE amount of the work (making it truly a family garden). Heidi and Charlie even scooped into the pile and helped move – they had been over for the whole day because Jim and Justin were helping Kate move into her new home at Deephaven Woods.
