We are really enjoying the ability to be outside more, especially the flexibility to change plans if it’s nice enough to be outside. Today we went to Deephaven playground and tromped around in the park behind the school property down to Carson’s Pond. There were definite signs of spring even though the skies looked a little ominous.
Of course, the water was super cold but that didn’t stop the girls from dipping their feet in from the dock.
We walked down to look at the bridge rebuilding project in progress and heard some frogs singing down in the flooded areas. It warranted a closer look but no frogs were spotted.
We are looking forward to more chances to get outside when it gets warmer!
