Garden Centers and Being Flexible

One of the things I am enjoying about our flexible school days is the ability to be out and about together and to stop and do or see things as they happen or become available. Without margin and flexibility in our days, I think we would be missing out! Today, we had a few extra minutes before we were due to pick up Natalie from Student Leadership just as we were driving past the outdoor garden centers at Westwinds Plaza. That gave us a chance to start pricing plants for the garden in advance of this weekend’s dirt delivery and planting. We got to see what was available, how much it was and how big the plants were. This saved a lot of time on the day we bought plants. In addition, the girls really loved looking at all the flower varieties available. Gloria took some pictures with her iPad so she could sketch some later.
