Somewhere out in our travels, we picked up the idea that today was National Doughnut Day. It was also our last “official” day of school for the year. Lacking any great celebrations available around here (aka no free doughnuts), we made out own doughnut holes at home, using a recipe I had found on Pinterest some time ago. The recipe is HERE.
We made a powdered sugar version, cinnamon sugar version and left some plan.
They are delicious but extremely rich. Oh, and ours were not very round!
